April 17, 2010 Echelon members are invited to the annual "Red Tie Affair" fundraiser gala held in Santa Monica. This year the American Red Cross is pleased to honor Jada Pinkett Smith with our national Crystal Cross Award for her outstanding contributions to humanitarian efforts and her support of the American Red Cross. The program is dedicated to fulfilling the Christmas wishes of thousands of needy children and families located in some of the most impoverished areas of Los Angeles. Last year with the help of Echelon members and special corporate sponsors we were able to secure nearly 15,000 childrens wishes which were all personally delivered by our team of volunteers. The event will showcase limited edition photographs of legendary icons from the 40's, 50's and 60's taken by legendary photographer Frank Worth. Eve has provided financial, educational and medical assistance to innumerable Moroccans in need. The proceeds raised from the event will help to build a school in the Atlas Mountains. Funds will also go toward building workrooms and providing vocational supplies and instruction in three villages neighboring Kasbah Tamadot. provided a tasting of fine wines from Wolffer Estate Vineyards, while
featuring a mouth watering selection of Asian fusion cuisine crafted by
our celebrity Chef Jack Lee. .
