The Echelon Club was able to fulfill the Christmas wishes of over 100 families in all totaling almost 700 Christmas wishes, while also providing presents for over 1,000 children in the community of South Central LA and surrounding areas. The Echelon Club's Adopt-A-Letter project was documented and seen nationally on Fox 11 News, Channel 13, Telemundo, America News Today, Forbes, ABC Action figure news, and was the talk of several radio stations on Christmas day. December 25, 2007: The Echelon Club has just formed a new organization called "Adopt-A-Letter" founded by Kimberly Moore and writer/publisher Patrice Farameh. The Echelon Club has been collecting letters to Santa Claus from the US Post Office written by children who live in some of the most impoverished areas of Los Angeles and fulfilling their Christmas wishes. During the entire month of December, Echelon Club members and friends join in adopting the letters of over 100 families in need and hundreds of children living within the community. All presents will be delivered on Christmas Day. "Rock the Kasbah Ball", an unforgettable red carpet event honoring Eve Branson for her tireless and extensive work in Morocco. Eve has provided financial, educational and medical assistance to innumerable Moroccans in need. The proceeds raised from the event will help to build a school in the Atlas Mountains. Funds will also go toward building workrooms and providing vocational supplies and instruction in three villages neighboring Kasbah Tamadot. The event will benefit "The Virgin Unite's Eve Branson- Moroccan Fund", hosted by Sir Richard Branson and acclaimed actress Mariel Hemingway.
